What To Do If You Contact Coronavirus
COVID-19
Finally, some sensible advice from a Nurse
“What I have seen a lot of are recommendations for how to try to avoid getting coronavirus in the first place -- good hand washing, personal hygiene and social distancing -- but what I have NOT seen a lot of is advice for what happens if you actually get it.
So as your friendly neighborhood Nurse let me make some suggestions:
You basically just want to prepare as though you know you’re going to get a nasty respiratory bug, like bronchitis or pneumonia. Just have the foresight to know it ‘might’ come your way!
1. Things you should actually buy ahead of time (not sure what the obsession with toilet paper is?):
- Kleenex,
- Paracetamol,
- whatever your generic, mucus thinning cough medicine of choice is (check the label and make sure you're not doubling up on Paracetamol)
- Honey and lemon can work just as well!
- Vick vaporub for your chest is also a great suggestion.
2. If you don’t have a humidifier, that would be a good thing to buy and use in your room when you go to bed overnight. (You can also just turn the shower on hot and sit in the bathroom breathing in the steam).
3. If you have a history of asthma and you have a prescription inhaler, make sure the one you have isn’t expired and refill it/get a new one if necessary.
4. This is also a good time to meal prep: make a big batch of your favorite soup to freeze and have on hand.
5. Stock up on whatever your favorite clear fluids are to drink - though plain water is fine you may appreciate some variety!
SYMPTOM MANAGEMENT:
1. If you have a fever over 38°c, take Paracetamol rather than Ibuprofen.
2. Hydrate (drink!) hydrate, hydrate!
3. Rest lots. You should not be leaving your house! Even if you are feeling better you may will still be infectious for fourteen days and older people and those with existing health conditions should be avoided!
4. Ask friends and family to leave supplies outside to avoid contact.
You may not NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL unless you are having trouble breathing or your fever is very high (over 39°C) and unmanaged with meds. 90% of healthy adult cases thus far have been managed at home with basic rest/hydration/over-the-counter meds.
BUT CALL: 080097000010
Wherever you are in Nigeria, That’s the number to call,
IF you suspect any Coronavirus.
It is toll-free, no charges.
and they will advise if you need to go to hospital.
EXISTING MEDICAL ISSUES
If you have a pre-existing lung condition (COPD, emphysema, lung cancer) or are on immunosuppressants, now is a great time to talk to your Doctor or specialist about what they would like you to do if you get sick.
CHILD MANAGEMENT: It has been found that kids usually bounce back in a few days if exposed to the virus (but they will still be infectious), Just use pediatric dosing and call the emergency number.
Be calm and prepare rationally and everything will be fine.
Above all pray that God should take control and protect you above all physical protection.

WAEC Deployed New Technology For Detecting Examination Malpractices
WAEC: Deploys a New Electronic Means of Detecting Examination Malpractice (Collusion Cases)
THE WEST AFRICAN EXAMINATIONS COUNCIL DEPLOYS A NEW ELECTRONIC MEANS OF DETECTING EXAMINATION MALPRACTICE (COLLUSION CASES)
OBJECTIVE TESTS
1. INTRODUCTION
(1) Since it is not possible for WAEC inspectors to visit all schools/centres to inspect the conduct of all examination papers, due to the geographical spread of examination centres across the country, many malpractice cases such as collusion are perpetrated during examinations.
(2) A high number of collusion cases are usually detected by examiners during the marking of Essay Scripts.
(3) There are schools/centres where almost all the candidates score very high marks in objective tests, but very low marks in the theory papers, and this has been of great concern to the Council.
(4) Collusion cases in Objective Papers previously went undetected because of lack of known technologies to detect malpractice in objective tests.
(5) A new software tool, Item Differentia Profile, is now available to detect collusion cases in objective tests.
2. DEPLOYMENT OF NEW TECHNOLOGICAL INSTRUMENT (ITEM DIFFERENTIA PROFILE FOR THE DETECTION OF COLLUSION CASES IN OBJECTIVE TEST)
WAEC through its commitment to combatting examination malpractice, consistent innovation deployment of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in its operations, has deployed a software application for detecting cases of collusion (malpractice) among candidates during the conduct of Objective tests.
The new technological solution is capable of detecting most of the collusion cases that take place during the conduct of objective tests in WASSC examinations, and to report on the candidateswho were implicated, using the charge sheets, that are electronically generated by the computer.
Candidates and other stakeholders are hereby informed about this new development, so thatthey would be advised to desist from examination malpractice forthwith because ignorancewill not be accepted as an excuse for any reported breach. Please be guided accordingly

Great Miracle From God
SHOCKING MIRACLE :-
A Muslim man in Egypt killed his wife because she was reading the Bible and then buried her with their infant baby and an 8 year old daughter. The girls were buried alive! then He reported to the police that an uncle killed the kids. 15 days later, another family member died. When they went to bury him, they found the 2 little girls under the sand - ALIVE! The country is outraged over the incident, and the man will be executed. The older girl was asked how she had survived and she says 'A man wearing shiny clothes, with bleeding wounds in his hands, came every day to feed us. He woke up my mom so she could nurse my sister,' she said. She was interviewed on Egyptian National TV, by availed Muslim woman news anchor. She said on public TV, 'This was none other than JESUS, because nobody else does things like this!', Muslims believe Isa (JESUS) would do this, but the wounds mean He really was crucified, and it's clear also that He is alive! But, it's also clear that the child could not make up a story like this, and there is no way these children could have survived without a true miracle. Muslim leaders are going to have a hard time to figure out what to do with this, and the popularity of the Passion movie doesn't help! With Egypt at the centre of the media and education in the Middle East , you can be sure this story will spread.Christ is still turning the world upside down! Please let this story be shared. The Lord says, 'I will bless the person who puts his trust in me.' Jeremiah 17.. Please forward these to all on your list and GOD will reward you abundantly!!!!!!!!!!! Please finish reading before you do anything else right now. Read this to the end. My name is God. I know you will give your time for me. I love you and always bless you. I am always with you. I need you to spend 30 minutes of your time with me today. Don't pray. Just praise. Today I want this message across the world before midnight. Will you help? Please do not cut it and I'll help you with something that you are in need of. A blessing is coming your way. Please drop everything & pass it on. Tomorrow will be the Best Day of your Life. Send this to 14 friends in 10min. Tell the devil you are a blessed child of God and you have more to be thankful for than to worry about. We must go through the storm to appreciate the sunshine! This is a test to see who has more followers. God or satan. If God, forward to 14 people, if satan, ignore this! God is going to fix two things (BIG) tonight in your favor. Trust God.
