*High School Girls From Epe Sold Colleagues For #50,000 in Ijebu Ode*

It so pathetic while recieveing the tragic incedent that happens in Ijebu Ode last week friday. Our correspondent gathered information that the students attends Odo-Obara high school located on Obafemi Awolowo way along Oke-Oyinbo police station road, we gathered the 3 student board a cab going to Ijebu Ode from Epe on Friday afternoon after the school closed for the day, but after successfully carrying out their nefarious agenda. As they were coming back to Epe, they  mistakenly board the same cab which transported them from Epe, the driver was quizzing them that they were 3 this afternoon when they left Epe and keep asking where is the third person they both reply the driver that she's still enjoying herself in Ijebu-Ode.

The driver said before the car gets to Epe he saw the duo sharing money at the back of the car seats and was wondering how come, secondary school teenagers sharing huge amount of money, he said he started suspecting and drove them straight to Oke-Oyinbo police station for further interrogation.

On getting to the station the suspect were examined and they later confessed that they sold their friend in Ijebu Ode for the sum of #50,000, the police try to locate the transaction selling point in Ijebu-Ode but despite their remarkable efforts information gathered says the girl has use for rituals sacrifices.

LAGOS EXAMS BOARD BEGINS THE SALE OF FORMS INTO THE STATE MODEL COLLEGES AND UPGRADED JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS FOR 2020 / 2021 ACADEMIC SESSION: The Lagos State Examinations Board hereby informs the general public especially Parents / Guardians, Headteachers and Proprietor / Proprietresses that Screening Test for admission of Primary Six Pupils into the 16 Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools with boarding facilities is on sale now. The registration started on Monday, 13th January, 2020 and it will end on Friday, 30th April, 2020. The Registration Fee is #10,000 per candidate. The Late Registration will commence from Monday, 4th to 15th  May, 2020 which would attract a fine of #5,000 to make it #15,000 per candidate. The Prospect Candidates are to collect PAYMENT INVOICE from ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT OF THE BOARD. Proceed to make payment at any of the approved designated banks. Then a copy of Bank Teller showing Payment should be returned to Accounts Department of the Board for VALIDATION OF PAYMENT and ISSUANCE OF OFFICIAL RECEIPT. You will become so weak and tired of seeing the person.

Whenever he or she laughs, you will cry.
While others are busy planning their future, you will be busy looking for how to pull him or her down.

The Spirit of God will leave you and you will become the temple of devils where demons reside.

You will begin to have different health issues like High blood pressure, diabetics, stroke, cancer, liver disease, kidney disease, etc, as long as you drink from the cup of hatred, bitterness, grudge, unforgiveness, malice, Anger, Jealousy, envy, resentment. Worse still, prayers or drugs cannot help much because you have disobeyed the natural and supernatural laws.
You will die before your time and go to hell.
The seller was still counting what a cup of hatred will cost me, when I shunned him, realizing how EXPENSIVE hatred is.
I left because I knew deep down I could not afford it.
I refuse to pay such a huge amount when I can LOVE so easily and cheaply.
Behold , don't allow anybody to sell hatred to you.
Avoid gossips, because a lot of times, it is what you hear about somebody that breeds hatred.Don’t die before your time.

Lagos State Government To Pay Three Months Minimum Wage Arrears

Lagos Public Servants to Receive Three Months Minimum Wage Arrears

Public Servants in Lagos State began the New Year with a commitment by the State Government to pay a 3-month arrears of the new minimum wage, the implementation of which took off in November 2019.

Speaking today at the 2020 Annual First Working Day Thanksgiving for Public Servants in the State, the Deputy Governor stated that the gesture was in recognition of the significant contributions and commitment of the public service to the realization of the goals and aspirations of the Sanwo-Olu Administration.

According to him, “We do this because we know this is the best public service in the country. The skill is there and the capability to deliver.”

While promising that the state government is committed to the completion of some major projects like the Blue Line Rail, Red Line and the Bus Rapid Transit; which will have a multiplier effects on wellbeing of the citizens, the deputy governor solicited the continued support and cooperation of the public servants to deliver on the projects.

He emphasized that in line with the present administration’s commitment to better the lots of Lagosians, the state government has increased budgetary provisions to Works and Infrastructure, Health and Education adding that if Lagos gets everything right, Nigeria will get it right.

Noting the importance and strategic position of Lagos and Nigeria in the socio-economic and political development in Africa, the deputy governor urged public servants to do the right thing, work hard and pray.

Saying, “If Lagos don’t do well, Nigeria will not do well and if Lagos do well, Nigeria will do. We are the key to the success of Nigeria and Nigeria is the faith of the Black race. So, we must be upright, do the right thing; obey traffic rules and other regulations”

In his remarks, the Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola disclosed that in consonance with the new Minimum Wage Act, the state Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has approved the payment of additional three months’ salary arrears to state public servants.

He stated that the acknowledgement of the pivotal role of the public servants in the implementation of the T.H.E.M.E.S was responsible for the payment of the 3 months arrears.

The Head of Service declared that the state government had prioritized the continuous and sustained training based on robust learning and development policy, budgetary provision and staff welfare oriented policies.

He urged workers to also improve the quality of service delivery and uphold the long-standing traditions of the public service namely the ethics and ethos of discipline, honesty, integrity and transparency.

According to the Head of Service, “In moving ahead towards successfully taking Lagos State closer to our shared vision of a cleaner, smarter and more habitable city through the highest standards of quality service delivery, it is imperative that we all recognize the critical importance of updating our knowledge, skills and competences.”

In their exhortations, the Islamic and Christian clerics charged public servants to do something good in the New Year and be more dedicated to their duties.

Highlight of the event was the offering of prayers for the Governor, the Deputy Governor, the State Executive Council, and the State Public Service in general.
